Very happy stay in Portmagee ☺ Beautiful scenic location with fabulous sea views. Frances, the owner was such a perfect hostess. She made us feel so welcome, gave us lots of local tips and information. She was warm, friendly and chatty and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely recommend her comfortable home. ☹ Can't think of anything.

Fantástico ☺ B&B liegt nahe am Skellig Besucherzentrum, ideal für die Erkundung der Valentia Island. Abends gute Essensmöglichkeiten in Portmagee mit Auto oder 1 km über die Brücke. Sehr nette und kompetente Betreuung durch Frances. Zimmer komfortabel und sauber. Frühstück lecker, mit Schwerpunkt auf Obst und Müsli. Unterkunft absolut zu empfehlen!

Been in four accommodations since my trip started and this was hands-down the best. Even though it's a B&B, it felt very homey, as if it had been designed to be luxurious. Rooms are spacious yet cozy, and decorated nicely. Frances (proprietor) was very friendly and gave a very nice breakfast. Location is great for checking out Portmagee (just walk across the bridge) and driving to nearby tourist sites. Best place I've stayed so far! Probably would be great for a romantic getaway too. Lovely accommodation!

This review is for the proprietor, Frances, who was extremely kind and helpful when I needed to cancel my reservation due to a technology error on the part of Booking.com. Although the issue should have been taken care of by Booking.com without penalty to either myself or Carriag Liath House, it did result in some inconvenience to Carriag Liath; however, Frances was extremely responsive and understanding. Fantastic location on the Ring of Kerry. We had the best time with Frances, she is a great person and a warm host. You can get to many sights such as the breathtaking Kerry Cliffs in just a few minutes by car and the village of Portmagee in just a few minutes on foot. The family atmosphere at breakfast is particularly noteworthy. We can highly recommend a stay!
