Across the road of us here is the Skellig experience centre which is a must do while on Valentia island . The centre celebrates the amazing Skelligs Rocks and demonstrates to you what life was like for the monks who lived on the rocks.
So that brings me to speak of the wondrous Skellig rocks which should be on anyone’s bucket list. The Skelligs Rocks are the highlight of the wild Atlantic way and is only one of three UNESCO world heritage sites in Ireland. Other things to visit are the Tetra pod track way, the site of the transatlantic cable, the lighthouse, Geokaun Mountain, Gleanleam Gardens, Valentia icecream and Knightstown. Quite honestly guys you could lose yourself in Valentia for two weeks, a week doing all the sites and activities and a week just taking life in on the Island.
